The Malt District site, renowned for its iconic Nylex sign and adjacent silos by the picturesque Yarra River, has seen a remarkable transformation. Once a locked-off area, it has been revitalized as a vibrant public space that seamlessly integrates living, working, and recreation. Caydon Property has appointed ILANEL to create custom feature lights for the 200 apartments, with the site's rich heritage serving as a key inspiration for the design.
ILANEL's bespoke fittings grace the kitchen island benches of the Coppin Corner apartments, enhancing their aesthetic appeal and functionality. By incorporating the distinctive elements of the Malt District's heritage, the design blends seamlessly with the modern renovation, paying homage to the site's illustrious past while embracing contemporary styles.
